 DR. LUIS BRAVO – Eur.Ing, C. Eng,FIEE, C.Manager FCMI, MioD President Dr. Luis Bravo, is as well the President of the other branches of CIDE. He is the President of Kidz Delight North America, The President of KEC Hong Kong, The President of Inspiration Works UK and the DG of SEI (Société Européene d’Ingénierie) in France. With vast experience in International Management, Dr. Bravo brings to the company the know how in Engineering and Manufacturing to keep CIDE at the forefront of modern technology. Together with Mrs. Karine Matringe, he is a founder of CIDE and the other subsidiaries. Before taking this job, Dr. Luis Bravo has been Managing Director of major Multinational Companies such as Philips International of Holland, Vtech of Hong Kong, Team Concepts International, Unico Technology Europe, to mention some of them. Actually he is the Dean of the European Business School of Cambridge. Dr. Luis Bravo is as well the former Chairman of the Audit Commitee of the Chartered Management Institute of the United Kingdom, and Member of the Board of Trustees of the CMI. Dr. Bravo presides as well over the Board of Trustees of the London Academy of Management Sciences and is visiting Professor of several re-known Universities. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds the degree of European Engineer, being as well a Chartered Manager and Fellow Member of both Institutes, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Technology and Engineering. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors in the UK. He holds Doctors Degrees of Cambridge and Oxford. Mrs. Karine Matringe – MBA Director Playing a key role in helping CIDE to achieve its near and long-term objectives, Mrs. Karine Matringe oversees every aspect of CIDE’s business strategies. “As SEI's Marketing Manager, I am responsible in bringing satisfaction and accomplishment to our customers, driving sales growth, expanding our channel strategy and delivering on CIDE’s financial and operational objectives. My passion is collaborating with customers and suppliers to provide the most efficient and effective offerings possible. I am very proud to be working with our talented teams at CIDE, SEI, Inspiration Works, KD and KEC, who are focusing every day on delivering world class products and solutions”. Prior to joining CIDE, Mrs. Karine Matringe spent more than 12 years working in engineering, manufacturing, and general management positions, including senior roles with large, manufacturing companies. For more than 8 years Mrs. Matringe was the Marketing Director (Europe) for Team Concepts International, a company based in Hong Kong, and previously, the Head of Product Development of Vtech France, another leader of the toy industry as well. Mrs. Matringe holds an MBA from the Ecole Supérieure de Lyon (ESL) of France, and besides her role as Company Director, she is as well an Executive Director of SEI, with the responsibility of Marketing and Sales. Dr. Edmund Ho, C.Eng. Director Dr. Ho's extensive experience in engineering management and consultancy has centered on wireless communications. In 1993, he founded Ascalade Technologies Inc. (previously named Arkon Technologies Inc.) which was an independent product development house for Regional Bell Operating Companies in the United States and brand-name electronics clients. Before founding Ascalade Technologies, he served as Director of Engineering at the VTech Group. There, he started a design center in 1988 and led the development of the first 900MHz digital cordless telephone. The technology would later grow into a multi-billion dollar industry in cordless telephony. He spent a significant part of his career as a senior lecturer in electronic engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He served as a consultant to the local electronic industry and government agencies in technology planning, technical problem solving and training. He started his career as a design engineer at the Philips Group of companies in Hong Kong. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) degree from the University of Hong Kong, a Doctor of Science degree in engineering management from Irish International University, a certified Doctor of Business Administration degree from the Oxford Association of Management, and an honorary Doctorate of Science from Knightsbridge University. He is a Chartered Engineer in UK, Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology in UK, Fellow of the Institute of Manufacturing in UK, Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, and Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in USA.
